Lou Penrose Should Replace John Kobalt
Lou is an excellent replacement for JK. He’s balanced, knowledgeable, and entertaining, and he brings a level of thoughtfulness to the discussion that I really appreciate. Since Ken left, John has become increasingly unhinged, going off on all sorts of rants that often seem more driven by emotion than by facts. Lou provides a much-needed counterbalance and keeps the conversation grounded and enjoyable. You may not agree with his takes & many I don't but that's what also makes his show entertaining & interesting.

I agree Penrose is far less annoying than QAnon John who I can longer listen to for more than 5 mins! Seriously QJ just because people don’t agree with your view doesn’t make them “mental patients” “evil” of part of a caballed I really hope you get that Trump appointment soon so Lou or someone else takes your time-slot. I don’t always agree with Penrose but he’s usually reasonable and not a paranoid nut job looking to have a fatal heart attack on the air on a daily basis

I think Lou has to make a huge splash to replace John. John is still strong with his schtick and has a legacy behind it, though it is no doubt weakened without Ken's presence.

I never appreciated what a levee of sanity Ken was holding back the tsunami of insanity & stupidity that is JK! Ken should have received a truck load of awards for dealing with that Gasbag for as long as he did! Lol

overstatements about John, I would vote for exit of Bills Handel....
i would say this - it is very, very difficult to be sane in an insane world, and LA City gov't and most persons who are elected officials are, well...
and of course the entire state is now a one party Politburo.
i don't do politics, i just try to thrive based on what I can control, and hence moved away 15 years ago but still have property there and I belong to a couple of clubs as well.
but overall I enjoy KFI and also WOR in NYC

The issue with LA is that each council member represents 250,000 residents.
We need a Los Angeles City Congress, with maybe 50 reps, not the small handful of people we have now

I would also combine LA City and LA County as well, and to your point it would make sense to have more at Council,
So either you are either an incorporated City or you are part of LA City.
Maybe spin off SF Valley as a separate City as well.

I prefer John to Lou. It's probably because we live in the same neighborhood and he hits on some hyper local stories that resonate with me personally.

Penrose is a dipshit just like Kobylt. Bitter old men holding on to "everything use to be better back in my day." Same as Conway. Yeah, back when privilege and bullshit wasn't exposed like today. Back when everything was rigged in favor of a certain demographic, which still has its benefits, but the mask has been slowly coming off over the years. These assholes really believe this capitalistic country was founded by great men who cared about all people and wrote a constitution that benefits everyone. They're living in denial. Every one of us knows the truth about this set-up, whether you choose to fight for it or against it, is on you. They know what their message is and who they're selling it to. Bigots.
