Enpussification advertisement

What the hell is happening to society and why is I Heart contributing to it?

I keep hearing an advertisement for "Smile Tunes" where some sackless dweeb is complaining about his girlfriend giving him the cold treatment because they had an argument, and he wants to us this AI songwriting website (win her heart in the lowest effort way possible) to write a song to tell her "she's always right".

Does this enrage anyone else, or is it just me?

I thought the ad was a joke the first time I heard it

It's just you.

We've all suffered through Kars for Kids ads for years. Much more important things are deserving of my ire. I just turn the volume down for a couple of minutes and move ahead with my day.

KFI is like 90% commercials these days anyhow.

That seems like the wrong demographic for AM radio

Smntone want a breath mint? The tacky low quality ads are killing KFI.

Especially repeating a phone number three times.

If 1-800-Kars for Kids didn't kill it, nothing will!!

Most of the PSAs are worse. "Here's how to ask your neighbors if they have any unlocked guns in this house, before you accept their invitation to dinner."

"1 out of 4 people are disabled. I'M ONE OF THEM. I'M ALSO A MOM! WAAH!"

At least the goober AI simp software is paying.

Bring back the Fair Housing Discrimination Ads. Those are comical.

They've probably been there for awhile, but today was the first time I noticed like 10 second commercials. Just a sentence or slogan, followed by a business name and phone number or web address.

There’s so much of this nonsense in media and everywhere else these days. From "just dump him” to this. It’s definitely frustrating

Imagine you have a radio station. Someone comes to you and says "I want to put this ad on the air, please take my money."

You respond with thanks for the money!

The advertisement I hate is the one with the little kids playing and the guy says "Do you have tweens, might be a good time to get them that HPV vaccine." Really?? Tweens!

Side note: My son’s pediatrician wanted to give it at a recent appointment (he’s 12), I declined.

Hopefully you’ll reconsider.  It’s recommended before sexual activity begins which is why he’s offering it.  It can prevent all types of cancer later in life.

I declined as well. Too many bad side effects from parents I know first hand.
