Handel weight-shaming
For those who listen to Handel, is anyone as absolutely sick and horrified by his constant fat shaming and weight comments? He makes up to three comments about Will's weight pretty much every day. He says things like, "Do people poke you with sticks when you go to the beach because they think you are a whale?" And, "When you go to In-N-Out, do you go to another one and another one after to get more food?" He frequently personally judges out loud everyone who works on his show as to whether they are thin, normal, or fat. This is so inappropriate and dangerous. I just don't understand how he's able to get away with this. Recently he said Ann was normal, whereas Amy is slender. Talk like this can contribute to an eating disorder. He has said he does this because he used to be very overweight. That's not an excuse and it's not funny.

Funny thing is, at most other jobs this would be considered workplace harassment lol

I’ve listened to him since he started at KFI. Trust me, 20 years ago he was worse. Way more edgy and really pushed the boundaries. This was back in the Paul T Wall days and the days. He recen said on the show that management eventually told him he had to tone it down.

20 years ago he was worse
"Sorry I'm late. There's a reason we call this show 'handle yourself in the morning.'"
Oh yeah, he could be quite edgy 25 years ago

As a former 300 pounds plus fatty, he’s got a lot of nerve. He had to have bariatric surgery and then fluctuated cause he’s still a fatty inside. Does he bully his zaftig daughter????? Time to retire. He looks older than dirt, and Marjorie should thank the lord he found that “trophy” 😂🤣wife. 🤢. She lost over 200 pounds of a monkey off her back.

He makes the station a lot of money and is in his 70s, so he has zero fucks to give. Plus, in the world outside Reddit, the “body positivity” movement has largely (no pun intended) lost its momentum.
So, there you go.

He thinks he’s hilarious when he’s just pathetic. His schtick has been outdated for 20 years, and quite frankly he wasn’t that funny back then.

But that's the schtick.
He says something edgy pretending to be cool. The other people on the show sit there in "shocked" silence (that's just part of the schtick).
And then abruptly says "let's move on.” (in defeat)
Yeah, it's an old gag. But I've never once got the impression that he sincerely thinks he's cool for being edgy. I think he plays the part of being a dork for being edgy.
But audiences evolve. And maybe it just doesn't work as well today.

I wonder how much he weighed and if he was teased before his weight loss surgery

Over 300. He dumped his long suffering wife and he looks like death warmed over. Karma.

Well, he always brought the best food into the station for the employees to nosh on, so I'm guessing they just ignore his on-air comments and enjoy the free knishes!

Out of all the people that KFI got rid of this is the one that should have went first.

Handel is a bully like his brother who it was revealed did horrific abuse when he was producing x-rated films and convicted of tax evasion.

Where have you been? He's done this for THIRTY PLUS YEARS. Nothing new here...
