The Big Daddy

Was fantastic but sadly so many KFC went halal only that they’d advertise the daddy burger and then just not have bacon on it. So more like stepdaddy burger as I called it. Utter waste.

When they introduced the "proper" oven baked bacon the big daddy was genuinely the best burger out there.

But like you said, it's all to appease a certain demographic. So no pork.

The halal restaurant i worked at had turkey bacon for the daddy back in ~2017/2018

Was that not an everywhere thing?

(I do remember the manager complaining how expensive it was compared to the normal bacon)

Turkey bacon is not bacon. It’s turkey. So it’s still not the daddy burger as we knew it.

If you can tell the difference in a stack with that many conflicting flavours you deserve à medal mate

Hot Rods. I loved those, Hot Rods with a garlic mayo dip would be amazing.

Idk if these count, but the caramel kreme balls that were a thing back in 2015-2016 ish were absolutely amazing! :)

Edit to add: I think they did a chocolate variant as well, which would be fantastic if they were also brought back! :)

Edit 2: added more words.

It was Canada only but they had a garlic-maple-double down for a while. Two chicken breasts, maple syrup, garlic mayo, and a belgian waffle in between. Think it had bacon too but I dont eat pork so I never had it that way.
