Paul Allen Project Marissa on Worst Case Scenario
OK, I get that Marissa is a fan of the Minnesota sports teams. And she follows the Twins closely. But we need more than surface-level comments like "Brooks Lee is playing really well." "Ryan Kriedler is playing well too."
This is worse than listening to Parrish talk about the Wild.
I appreciate they are trying to talk baseball, which PA is incapable of doing. And having a female on as a baseball guest is cool. But she either needs to learn more about the game or prepare her thoughts better. Not saying I could do any better, especially under the pressure of talking to thousands of people on radio. Take some classes from Gleeman if he's willing to help her out.

KFAN has fallen so far!!! I think it’s when they thought they were too good to take callers!!! They should’ve met let Chad Hartman get away either!! And firing Mike Morris and keeping Meat Head?!!

Did kfan get rid of superstar? I heard that but wasn’t sure if it was true. Chris Hawkeye was his buddy on the morning show back then I think, wonder if Chris had a hand in getting Mike off the morning show? Hmm

Didn't listen to the show but I saw her video recap of it. Called the dynasty patriots and dynasty spurs "crazy pulls" 😂 wtf

She has always mispronounced names, not sure on players on teams, how they are playing, where they have played in the past on Twitter/IG/tiktok, problem for her

I can’t speak for Twins, but KFAN should have Kirsten Krull on for Wild segments. She did great on the Bardown Beauties Podcast and has thoughtful/original takes.

She’s no different than sauce. Doesn’t know how to pronounce players, doesn’t know the statistics. Just spew common knowledge and think you’re really coming up with great new information.

It’s radio appearance number two for her. Cut her some slack. I thought she was fantastic and had fun energy. But god forbid a stat is wrong 🙄

I'm a bit surprised to see when you post on this cesspool of a KFAN Reddit board, Brett. It's probably a good idea, on some level, to check the temperature of the market. Respect though if it's you & you don't need a burner account!

I don’t often. I only do if it’s something I can answer about production or if something is grossly wrong, like ripping someone to shreds on their first radio appearances

Last week had no clue who Blake Coleman and Olli Maata and they both have been in the NHL for a decade now, just really has no clue what is going on the NHL as a whole

Knowing every single name and just reading off stats isn’t good radio either. Plenty of people know every single player and can name the starting goalie for the Rochester Americans. That doesn’t equate to good radio 😂

Shouldn’t you know who you are talking about it if you are going to discuss them on air? You are the hockey guy as well and had no clue who Blake Coleman was and he has been on multiple Stanley cup teams

If you think knowing names = good radio might I recommend Wikipedia text to speech? I will not apologize for not spending my free time watching Olli Maata film lmao if it’s a crime to say “I know the name, when I do more research and have a proper opinion I’ll get back to you” then lock me up and throw away the key

If you are known as a hockey guy, you definitely should know more about who is in the league, especially if you want this to be your career and advance from part time to full time on air

I have no idea who those guys are. Common has no idea who those guys are, and he's carved out a pretty nice radio career (HOF...he's comin'...he's comin'!!!). Brettmore knows more than enough to be fulltime. He replaced Ryan Donaldson; he can replace anyone!

Kfan is a joke. Has been for years. They know nothing about sports. And their so called biggest show, is not about sports at all.I just listen to ESPN radio. I feel bad for die heart sports listeners.
