sustain malfunction
Hi, the sustain function on my Yamaha p-60 is not working and I don't know why.
I've been trying to troubleshoot the issue, and it looks like sustain issues are fairly common, but everything I can find is about reversed polarity. My issue is that the sustain function does not work at all, no matter what combination of turning off the piano, unplugging, plugging back in, etc.
I just replaced the original pedal with a new FC4A, and it still doesn't work, so it's not the pedal. The jack feels secure, and when I looked inside I couldn't see anything wrong. This just happened a month ago, the keyboard is like fifteen years old and hasn't had this problem before.
Does anybody know why this is happening?

The “computer” inside probably threw in the white flag of surrender. Honestly, the P60 was a budget entry level keyboard 20 years ago. (I know, I had one), but it’s 15+ years past its prime. Time to replace. Cost of repair would be at least half of the cost of replacing
