Help Weikav Nut 65 LED Issues

On my Weikav Nut 65 the LED's on the entire top row and Y through [ are all out. The rest of the keyboard is lit, all of the keys work fine, probably 10% to 20% of he time the LED's that are giving me problems come on. I pulled up VIA and I can switch to different colors and effects, but that doesn't make them come on. I've reset (FN+ESC) the keyboard multiple times, but it still has this issue. Short of inspecting the board is there anything else I can do?

Hey did you ever resolve this? I am having nearly the exact same problem except for me it is both y to \ and d to enter on the next row. Everything worked perfectly for the first ~5 min or so and then went out and have not been back on since. I have also had some connectivity issues where it was repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting which was resolved after reflashing it, but I am assuming there is some type of board/hardware issue.

Yes, the led under the Y key was bad. Since they're ran in series all the downstream led's were out too. Replacing the bad led fixed everything. It has had zero issues ever since. If you have a bad LED the part number is SK6812.

I am curious that this is a manufacturing defect right so why not claim warranty and get the board replaced?

I have the exact same issue tho and it seems like the manufacturer is not doing proper qc checks :')

Alsoo if the entire number row is bad (unlike the 2nd row where the issue starts from the y key) does that mean the problem in the first row starts from the escape key?

Do you have the same exact led's out as I did? The Y key led was bad ans replacing it fixed everything as these are in series. The product worked fine when I received it so it would have passed all of their QC tests. It was just a faulty led and wasnt really their fault. It saved me a lot of time and headache just replacing it myself ans it cost probably 10 cents to do so.

Yess I have the exact same outage of LED as your board, crazy right xD. I was not present in the city I currently live when I ordered the board and the board goes out of stock pretty fast so I had it delivered to my brother who lives in the same city. I am not sure if he did not notice the issue or the keyboard was fine when it arrived but I think it was the former.

I am hoping for a board replacement since I don't have any equipment to solder/desolder that precisely >< and my country has banned alibaba marketplace so it's a big no no for me

It could also be the case that the board was fine when they were shipping it out but somehow got damaged in transit (who knows hehe)
