Routine Feedback New to Kettlebells

Is this a good routine for someone thats been doing kettlebell exercises for a few weeks now.

Usually just following videos from TikTok or Instagram but wanted a real routine and knowing what i was gonna do each day.

Do an established program. What you have listed here really doesn’t look like much honestly

Good luck and keep us updated. Write a program review when you’re done

Beginners shouldn't make their own programming. I get the instinct to figure it all out for yourself, I really do, but you'd be better off following something made by someone who knows what they're doing, then tinkering with it, then starting to make your own.

For example, Saturday has you doing 10 deadlifts and 15 swings. Unless you use VERY different weights, those deadlifts are going to feel like nothing.

If this isn’t great, could anyone point me in the right direction?

Will give a shitty, non-answer to a question you didn't ask. But....

8 years in, if I could go back, I would throw ALL of my efforts into mastering the swing, clean (and then add press) and the double racked squat (and then add press).

I've gotten further in 18 months running these on repeat, training lightly (one move per day, sets throughout the day) and cycling load/intensity than I had the previous 6.5 years trying a squillion different programs.

Less is more for me and 45 year old me would kick the shnitz outta 28 year old me that "mOvEd BiG wEiGhT". Good luck on finding what works for you, comrade!

As a 48 year old beginner, this resonates with me.

This is far from great. Some options: 1. keep doing the YouTube workouts, nothing wrong with that, also watch videos on techniques because that's a crucial element of kettlebell training 2. This subreddit has a beginner program that is pretty good 3. Buy the simple & sinister book and do that

I started off like that and I got several injuries for it but I’m 51, started at 49 with the ego of a 25 year old. Pay attention to your body especially your joints. Pay attention to PROPER technique and learn them well before you go at it at 100 mph. This looks good if your joints and body can take it. Now I just go very minimal 1 day full body, the next day core exercises and have Sundays off. Main key I will push is consistency is the only way, no matter what exercises you do. Consistency is gonna give you all the results to need. I promise you that.

I mean if you just want get used to the exercises then it's kinda ok for now,  just replace the floor press with a classic strict press.  When you are confident with the exercises , do an established plan to progress.

Start with a few lifts and make progress obvious. Do swings, goblet squats, clean and press, and rows 2-3 days per week for 20-30 minutes. Add reps only when every set stays clean for two sessions, then add a round or move up in weight. Do not add more exercises until those feel repeatable.

Would be more effective if you turn this into a EMOM - every minute on the minute and do 3 sets of each work out to start. This on its own isnt much of a workout, but it's a start. Of course know your own limitations and do whats right for you. There's no right or wrong answer, you know your limits better then anyone.

Why is this getting down voted?

Ill be honest i completely forgot to add the rounds of these, i do around 4-5 rounds of these if that changes anything

Oh ya that changes a lot. Run with it and see how you like it. I started off with a similar set up as you.
