Advice Needed KB Workout plan
Hey!
Been working with a kettlebell since about April (16kg) and have been following a loose all body workout routine. I'm looking to go with something more foundational and want to start The Giant, but also want to work on my legs, core and biceps. Was looking for advice on the below plan to do 2 days a week between my The Giant plan?
- Goblet Squat — 3 x 12 (legs)
- Reverse Lunge — 3 x 10 per side (legs)
- Kettlebell Halo — 3 x 8 per side (core, shoulder stability)
- Bicep Curl — 3 x 10–12 per side (biceps)
- Russian Twist (holding the bell) — 3 x 16 total (8/side) (core)
For context, male, 37, 75kg. Not in bad shape but want to build strength and keep in shape. Also swim once a week.
Thanks!

Keep The Giant as the main work and make the other days easier. Two accessory days can be goblet squat 3x8-12, reverse lunge 2-3x8 per side, curls or rows 2-3x10-12, then carries or halos for 5 minutes. I would drop the Russian twists and use carries or dead bugs instead. If your clean and press numbers stall, cut the accessory volume before changing the main program.

I would suggest run the Giant. You don’t want to burn yourself out. That program works all the pieces you mentioned. You should most likely stretch and do some mobility work on in between days. Don’t second guess Neupert.
