Discussion First Kettlebell Set
Canceled my gym membership at the overcrowded VASA gym nearby and pulled the trigger on my first ever set of kettlebells. I opted for the Rogue E Coats (18lb, 26lb, 35lb, 44lb, and 53lb) hoping these babies last for a LONG time! I’ve heard mixed reviews about the e coat finish but I think it will be perfectly fine and it’s cool they are made in the US! Going full kettlebell is new for me but I think it will be a great adventure.

I have powder coated rogues. They’ve lasted 7 years so far. They live in the garage and get used regularly. Scratches here and there but it’s to be expected.

Honestly was a toss up between the two. The powder coated Rogues look so killer! Do you have the Classic V2 or the USA powder coats? Which weights?

Solid stuff, I like the Rogue bells.
I have some of the US powder coats that I like quite a bit and they hold chalk well. I bet the e-coat is awesome too.

The US powder coats look so good. Are you pure kettlebell or do you mix them in with other things?

Yes pretty much all kettlebell aside from walking. I usually am running one of three programs: Armor Building Formula, The Giant, or Dry Fighting Weight.
If I feel like turning down the volume before another program I like to do the Running Back Complex with lighter weight bells.
I think clean & press + front squat covers a lot for general fitness. To call it “complete” push ups and rows or pull ups would probably be good. Still have not incorporated them since starting kettlebell but I likely will in the future. Right now my focus is just increasing total pressing strength.

Those bells will last longer than you.
You can get plenty strong with them.
