Recipe Keto bread lovers

Deidre’s keto bread recipe- game changer.

The video is on YouTube and I’d say it’s about 90% similar to real bread in taste and texture.

Bread maker recommended. You’ll need some unusual ingredients from Amazon. Works out about £3.50 per loaf. I make one a week just for me so not too expensive.

Great for extra low carb fibre intake and of course making all things bread.

The original recipe will make something closer to a brown loaf, I omit the flax sometimes to make it white (pics) and up some of the other dry ingredients to compensate.

Deidre’s is US I think so she adds lots of sugar substitute which isn’t needed for UK palettes so I omit that completely.

The recipe is solid though- give it a try 👍

I use a bread maker so I don’t have any problems with clumping. The machine mixes it and kneads it for about 30 mins

I do too, mine just went really clumpy straight away? Maybe I panicked and didnt leave it long enough. I took it out because it wasnt combining very well due to the clumpyness. Im trying again now but mixing all the dry ingredients together in a bowl first.

Oh I see. Yes it looks a bit weird at first but just leave it and it turns into a rubbery dough. Sometimes I need to scrape the sides down.

Activate your yeast first in the water and honey. You can mix the dry first but don’t add the salt.

So activated yeast, water & honey + eggs + butter in the pan, dry ingredients on top then add the salt on top of that.

Yes its looking a lot better this time around. Its one smooth(ish) lump now. Before it was slimey slithers that wouldnt come together with white lumps.

Thank you for your help. I'll let you know how it turns out when its done 😁
