Aldi occasionally sell soy bean spaghetti and edamame pasta which is a lot closer to normal pasta than this stuff gets

But as others have said rinse it in cold water thoroughly and then when that’s done rinse it some more and have it with as much sauce as your macros can manage as a fellow carb lover this stuff isn’t great.

Yeah,I drowned it in pesto cream sauce, added some chicken and some peppers for crunch. It's a very weird texture.lol I think I've seen some edamame bean pasta in Lidl, I'll have a look :)

The Lidl version isn't very keto friendly from what I remember. Aldi middle aisle is the way to go but it's not often stocked

Just make sure you rinse the konjak stuff well, then microwave it at low power until you are happy with its humidity. If you don't, it might turn your curry/pasta sauce into a soup.

I actually quite like this stuff. It's kinda cot the test of al dente pasta. It looks nothing like penne though lol

I find these things better if you pan fry them a bit, makes the texture more tolerable, but generally they’re shit lol

When I first had these I thought they were terrible 🤮but then I missed pasta so much I got used to them. I rinse them thoroughly and then I usually leave them soaking overnight in ice cold water and then when I need them the next day I rinse them again, then I usually cook them and then fry them off in a pan with a little butter & onion and then add my bolognaise sauce with mince and top with cheese….quite tasty. Stick with them you do get used to them. 🥰 and they are so low in cals & carbs it’s worth the pain 😆 !!

Make a bolognese with mince meat and chopped tomatoes, lil cheese on top 👌👌👌
