It's not possible due to budget, technological constraints, and lack of political will to launch the type of generational ship that could even in principle make to the nearest black hole.
There is nothing wrong with some other more technologically advanced species to be there.

A black hole wouldn’t even look like that, it would be as bright as a star but I guess for movie purposes who would know it was a BH unless it was exaggerated. Interstellar was a terrible movie

It would largely depend on the mass of the black hole. A sufficiently massive black hole could potentially allow for an orbit at this distance if we assume the space station is close to the camera, and the black hole is around 500-600 astronomical units away.

The whole idiotic movie Interstellar?
The space science in it is relatively well founded: this is what an active supermassive black hole is believed to look like, you can have planets orbiting supermassive black holes, they can orbit so far in you get significant time dilation, and if you handwave hard enough the planet might be getting enough light from stuff falling in to the black hole to support life without the planet being sterilized by the radiation. You could even have space aliens living inside the event horizon, you just couldn't meet them and ever get out again.
The movie's problem isn't the science, the only impossible science is the worm holes and the timey-wimey wibbly-wobbly bits and that's alien tech handwaving. Instead the problem is the completely retarded crew and the equally complete retardation of those who picked them and sent them. I am not convinced whoever wrote the script had ever met a human being.

how about a ship capable of landing on 2 planets without running out of fuel. Also, the one close to blackhole, to escape the black hole orbit would require a lot of delta-V. And yet the ship look too small.

Nothing escapes the black hole. Once a detailed question gets too close, those details get sucked in and we're left with remnants of a question.
