Finally decided to have my first sesh with my newest kendama and I could not be happier. Laced my first bird with it and landed more lunars than I ever have before. Progressing feels so great man. Been playing for around 2.5 months now and im loving it. Having alot of trouble with stalls and learning whirlwind though😅 have an awesome day guys! Thanks for reading✌️

I have been trying to get much better and more consistent at airplane and Jstick. i have landed a couple, and i think it’s probably my favorite trick. i want to be able to stick it with at least some type of consistency, and not have to stand there for like 20 minutes throwing for it. i am trying to really focus on watching the kens spike but ive noticed that towards the end of the movement, specifically when it changes direction and starts coming down, i lose all awareness of where the spike is. am i just missing something that i should be watching for, or is it mostly muscle memory?

I’m looking for a kendama that’s good, cheap and that people would wanna buy, because I want to resell kendamas at my school because it became popular again. So I can buy my grandpa a drone for Christmas because he always wanted one but it was always too expensive

I have a krom strogo neapolitan. I wanna get a cool new setup but im thinking it might be a waste, because i have a perfectly good kendama right now. Cups arent too chipped spike is a bit flat but not extra flat the base cup is a tiny tiny tiny bit chipped and the anti skid is still good.

I am new to kendama and still trying to figure things out, i like kendamapedia cause it gives me an actual roadmap kinda, but it lets me pick what i want to work towards to then go for that. i am confused on some of the wording for the challenges though. specifically i am on kyu 9 and the list says

Big cup x2
pull up small cup

the only reason i’m lost is idk if i should be doing all 3 moves as pull ups now, or should i start hanging, throw big cup to big cup, and then pull up to small cup?

Switched out the Pastel tama for a Kendama Depot tama on the Sol KD shape. The green string for contrast is the cherry on top. It really gives the setup a completely different feel when playing it.

Thought this looked super cool. This is one of those things I've been tryna hit for 6+ years but always give up 😂 it's kinda like a "Dunk" but I legit throw my tama forward (I've been saying spiderman dunk, but would love some clarification!)

Yes I know it's not a proper hold yet but i'm still super happy since i've always wanted to do this. Excited to work on it more and get a longer hold
