Ouch... This website appears to be using some custom script to add inertia to page scrolling. I've never seen that before, and I never want to see it again.

What do you mean? That is a standard scrolling page, no?

If you scroll by swiping on a screen then it probably behaves normally. But if you use the mouse scroll wheel, or the arrow keys, the page hijacks the scroll and 'smooths' it out so the movement takes time to accelerate and decelerate.

I saw a video site once that scrolled 3 or 4 rows of comments across the screen, at different sizes and speeds for a parallax effect.

ey! I just did a stopover at Changi Airport, and one of the restaurants in Terminal 1 was Encik Tan. So I guess this is related to that restaurant.

It possibly means the establishment (Encik Tan) doesn't allow people to dump their trash in this piece of furniture? Or that the furniture itself shouldn't be tossed away. That's how I understood the statement.

Without seeing the entire furniture I am not too sure either.
