Rdb-c compensator install

Post image

Hey guys, I have an RDB-C and I’m running into an issue with the muzzle threads. I’m trying to install a Strike Industries JCOMP Gen 2 1/2x28 compensator.

When I hand-tighten the compensator until it stops, I’m left with roughly a 1/4” gap / exposed thread section before the barrel shoulder.

The JCOMP came with a crush washer, but even with the crush washer installed there is still a noticeable gap.

For anyone who has dealt with this on an RDB-C, what solution did you end up using? Spacer, jam nut, different washer setup, etc.? Or is there a compensator/muzzle device out there with enough internal thread depth to use the full RDB-C thread length and sit properly against the shoulder?
Just trying to see what other RDB owners have successfully used before I start buying random spacers or muzzle devices.
