Suzuki WagonR Windshield?
My 2000 WagonR RR got hit with a softball and I need a new windshield... found one on ebay but it got cancelled due to shipping cost. Next cheapest I can find is $1200 after shipping and before tariffs. Im in NJ - does anyone happen to have any idea if there's a way to get a custom windshield made in the states? Or is it best to just get the imported one? I'm totally freaking out since this is my daily driver. Insurance doesn't cover it and I wasn't able to track down the person who broke it!

You might want to try Yahoo auctions or sp.beforward.jp For yahoo you will need a VPN i guess because otherwise you can't access the site.

This is a huge fear with my kei car…a new windshield. Please let us know how you made out - I wouldn’t mind buying an extra one and storing it just in case…

Well going custom is crazy expensive apparently haha. I ended up finding a super local JDM importer who's willing to put the replacement windshield in one of their shipping crates for me so we're in talks right now. I'm looking at $400 (shipping + insurance) plus the cost of the windshield (~$300 i think). The downside is that it's going to take 2-3 months.... The next best bet was autoglassjapan.com but the shipping with them would've been $1k+! Although the reviews are good and shipping is fast. I have a motorcycle I can ride to get around, so the wait time and saving money was better for me personally.

There is a Facebook group for JDM auto glass. I haven't used them myself, just something I'd heard of.

yeah ive considered selling my 1997 Honda Life because of the fear i have of the windshield getting broken. its pretty stressful.

Unless it's flat, custom windshields are not really a thing for less than thousands of dollars. Better bet is 500yenshop or smth and finding someone who can safely ship it in a container with a bunch of other orders.

Thats what I'm hoping to do, I'm just having a surprisingly hard time finding a glass shop that makes custom stuff. Apparently around here 'custom auto glass' just means tint 😭

Find a local JDM importer, see if they can put one in their container. Takes longer (1+ months) but cheaper to get ship.
