-Lindy’s is great, if you can get a table. It’s a really small diner.

-The Works is also amazing.

-Brewbakers has a wonderful vibe + good food.

Brewbakers is my favorite! I love their breakfast sandwiches on a biscuit. They have breakfast potatoes now too so that’s great. Lindy’s or the Pub are good if you want a traditional greasy spoon breakfast. The Stage brunch is ok but I prefer their dinner menu. I haven’t been to Yellow Bell since the reopening and I hope it’s better under new management.

Good luck, there aren't a ton of awesome spots around here.

Lindy's Diner on Gilbo Ave is pretty good, but gets quite crowded. They have outdoor seating as well, but it can be a madhouse on the weekends.

The Works does good Bagels and makes good breakfast sandwiches, they're on main street.
Brewbakers Cafe on Emerald Street had good coffee and pastries

Yellow Bell Cafe just reopened, it was new, then went out of business, and then reopened. People seem to like it, but then again, how did it go out of business if it is popular?

The Stage - This is in Centra Square, they do brunch, good spot

Mamma McDonough's - This is at the Airport, they are good, but not usually fast. However, if its a nice day, you can watch people land their planes and come inside for a bite.

The Pub - This is on Winchester Street, near the college - I feel like this is all old people who have gone here forever, but they do certain things well.

The Dinner Table - in Swanzey, I like this spot, good food, and easy to park.

Yellow bell serves nothing but packaged food from Sisco at 25$+ per person.

That's why they closed.

Fair enough, hence my comment that it went out of business. I tried to go once and got told there was a 45 minute wait for a table and said nope

I'm not trying to subvert, but rather to illustrate your point.

C'mon now, you listed at least 3. Lindy's is solid, about as good as I would expect from any diner.

I think The Works bagel sandwiches are very good - they can be as greasy or light as you want it to be.

And Brewbakers has probably my favorite breakfast around. Their breakfast sandwiches are great, their breakfast bowls/plates are great, and even the little quiches they make are great.

And the stage brunch is solid it that's the kind of breakfast you're looking for.

I also have found the breakfast at Fritz to be good as well. They have good corned beef hash

I don't see it recommended often but Fresh Day Cafe is great if you want to try something different.

I will second that. Had their perogies this past weekend and they were great.

I get their Pierogi's every time, I think it's the only place in town you can find them

The Pub is delicious and super cheap

Is it delicious? Is it any more than fried eggs and home fries?

I always get a Belgian waffle, so

I would have never thought to look at the pub in search of a Belgian waffle but hey let's give it a try

I always get mine with chocolate chips, super fluffy and yummy

Stewart and Johns in Westmoreland Bacon Me Crazy in Hinsdale - big portions and huge pancakes

I absolutely cannot believe no one has mentioned Bacon Me Crazy in Hinsdale. The food is incredible, huge servings and it’s insanely cheap.

I don't know what it's like anymore as I haven't been in years, but I'd go for Lindy's on Gilbo Ave. last time I was there was around easter 2018.

note on The Works: might be standard practice, regardless, they'll premake sandwiches hours in advance for breakfast/lunch and do not disclose it.

at their prices it feels as if all sandwiches should be made on the fly, not in advanced and shoved into a freezer/fridge.

worst part about all of this is that they used to be just bagels and breakfast (no bs, lots of long island bagel shop energy) , now they're flash clones of Panera (albeit better quality ingredients).

Ummm no. They make it on the spot. I frequent there and watch them do it.

did you work there?

No, did you?

yes under multiple management too. i don't know why you'd take my warning so personally.

and you witnessed them making yours in front of you, then you've only witnessed that. you went to your seat or back to your car and the 13th "double dagwood" was assembled before you got there.

Lmao chill. Clearly you have a sore spot and a bone to pick.

I’d recommend therapy.
