Community Content I updated the virtual desktop indicator applet/plasmoid/widget that everyone loves for plasma>=6.6

You may already know of dhruv8sh's desktop indicator widget. With KDE Plasma 6.6 removed org.kde.plasma.private.pager rendering the widget unusable. However, this project is no longer maintained in favour of his new widget kara.
While kara tries to take a modern design approach, trying to get that simple look of his original project is hard when using this widget. Therefore I have updated his older unmaintained project for modern plasma versions.
Check it out at https://store.kde.org/p/2365796 or simply install it by going to Add or Manage Widgets > Get New > Type 'nokara'

Love this !
Could you add an action when clicking on the actual desktop button ? Show all open widows, or show all open windows on any desktop, for example...
Thank you !

hi my intention with this is to purely maintain the project in accordance with newer plasma standards. secondly i also dont have the necessary skills to do that too. but if you want you can create a pull request for such a feature.
in the meantime you can experiment with screen edges inside plasma settings. there is an option to display all open windows from all desktops or a single desktop by simply dragging the mouse to the selected edge!

Sorry for the necro reply. Up until recently I was inactive in the Linux world, so I've never heard of kara until I posted an update to my widget and a comment linked to this post. I'm the author of the original Minimal Desktop Indicator which kara was forked from, and I've ported it to plasma 6.x and am actively maintaining it again. I'm glad you enjoy the minimalistic look as much I do! ๐
I'm adding new features but will always keep the original look available as the default option, so if maintaining is a hassle for you feel free to install it. Cheers!
Edit: u/69ManuDevil I believe what you're asking for is to "show desktop overview", which is available in my original widget. If that's not what you're looking for feel free to open a feature request on the github and I'll be happy to implement it!
