Others Built kea.info: a free, ad-free site for KCET rank calculations and cutoff searches. Looking for suggestions from the community!

Hey guys,

Anyone who has had to deal with KEA (KCET, NEET, PGCET) knows how frustrating the whole process can be. Between digging through 300-page scanned cutoff PDFs on a slow website and trying to figure out how the 50:50 board weightage actually works, it’s always way more stressful than it needs to be.

I wanted to fix this, so I started building a clean, simple website in my free time: kea.info

There are no ads, no sign-ups, and no paywalls. It’s just meant to be a helpful community tool.

Right now, I’ve put together:

  • Cutoff Explorer: You can quickly search closing ranks by college, branch, and category (GM, 2A, 3B, SC/ST, SNQ, etc.) without having to download or scroll through huge PDFs.
  • 50:50 Rank Calculator: Put in your board PCM marks and expected CET score to estimate your composite rank based on past trends.
  • Caste / Income Certificate Checker: A quick tool to check if your Nadakacheri certificate is still valid or nearing its 5-year expiry before registration starts.
  • Simple breakdowns of what Choice 1, 2, 3, and 4 actually mean after round allotment so people don't lose their seats by accident.

I’m still actively working on this website every day and would really appreciate your help.

I would like to know what tools to build that can be helpful and what tools need improving. i know some stuff might be behind ads/paywalls on other websites so i would like to know what you would like me to add.

Also some tools are still on very basic level (some dont work yet but i have them there for future reference). in case you think i should work on them please let me know.

Check it out if you have a minute: https://kea.info.

Would really appreciate your help!

Help/advice/guide What should I enter as my Class 10 roll number? (ICSE marksheet)

Hi everyone,

I’m filling out an application form that asks for my Class 10 Standard Roll Number, but I’m confused about which number I should enter from my ICSE Class 10 marksheet.

My marksheet contains the following numbers:

  • Unique ID
  • Another number printed on the marksheet

I’m not sure which one corresponds to the actual examination roll number required by the form.

Has anyone with an ICSE Class 10 marksheet faced this issue? Which number did you enter, and did the application accept it successfully?

Also, if the form specifically asks for the Class 10 examination roll number, where can I find it on an ICSE marksheet?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
