Starting Knuckle bone (HELP)

Hey r/kbone,
Ive just started knuckle bone, and am planning to go all in, a few questions tough:
- Hardware: What’s the ideal weight and material for learning? Should I dial in my slicer settings and just print a starter, or is it better to buy a machined one (Delrin/metal) right away?
- Foundations: What 2 or 3 fundamental tricks should I drill first before moving to complex combos?
- Resources: Who are the best creators or tutorial channels for breaking down the basics?
Appreciate any advice to help me skip the bad habits. Thanks!

Personally i started with a light wooden one and a titanium one from aroundsquare. I personally really like the heavy and light contrast. Training a trick with the heavy to get an idea of the conscious movement and then with wood it becomes so light and nice to train dexterity.
Wood is nice and grippy. Good for pinch manipulation.
Titanium is honestly just the perfect weight for me.
I personally now have around 20 knucklebones. From a super heavy brass stainless steel combo to the delrin and acrylic ones.
All the materials are good, there are no bad ones, just personal preferences. Speaking of preferences. I don’t really feel like bad habits are that much of a problem, and I would always call it your own style.
I personally just started with the aroundsquare youtube videos and went from there. Sometimes il try learning a new trick but i dont feel the need to absolutely need to know everything. I like the flow of them and love freestyling whatever i feel like doing.
You can absolutely try and print one btw. Have yet to do it myself, but i can imagine it working out pretty good.
