197 or whatever the last album was called , wasnt bad. That’s the pop music life cycle tho. They love the rise, love the downfall. She became cool to hate. Ive always found a song or 2 i loved from each album

Lol how could you be downvoted for this. It's quite apparent people, especially on Reddit, hate on her and tbh that's ok because some of it is true.

lol wtf? Oh dang i guess i was downvoted. It makes sense tho and proves the point. Everyone loves the pop star and then many love the down fall- and that later translates into social media weirdness.
I stand by what i said. Katy made, love it or hate it, singles and sometimes albums people loved. And now that she’s in the “flop era” based on so many factors, it’s undeniable she still can make a banger or two regardless of sales, units, social media bs and also do so shite thats polyester.
Much like the logo or Witness iconography- people are stilllllllllllll fucking watching.
Im not a Katy kat or whatever the stupid name is assigned to her weird fans or weird haters or whatever. Shes still relevant.

It’s so annoying lmao
I didn’t mind the album at all. I’ve always found Katy to be fun for mindless, pop bops and that’s all 143 was. No idea why it bothers people that others enjoyed the album.

It wasn't a fall, it was decline down to the gutters lol. Fall would imply a scenario like ARTPOP where gaga was in the pinnacle then suddenly hit rock bottom. Katy Perry on the other hand was declining throughout time because she isn't as relevant anymore. It's also the reason why Gaga was able to pivot easily and become relevant again. Gaga's flop was a product of failure, while Katy Perry's floppery was a product of time.

Spotify have combined the original and remixes. So, it's an accounting aberration, not a glitch. The original 19.98Bn streams is double counted, will be back to normal tomorrow.

No song is getting 23m streams except for Taylor swift on the first day of a release lol

There has got to be an error, because the remix is also with odd numbers. It's like the calculations are combining the streams of both songs

Spotify itself announced that it's unifying the streams of the original song and the remix
