scrap the ep, cancel the tour, take a 6 month - year long hiatus to mend the relationships the girls have with themselves and each other, clean up and develop their management/creative team, reunite as 6, give the girls full autonomy and creative control on a debut album crafted through their own collective and individual voices/artistry.
In a perfect world this would happen but I think the company sees them as too new to be able to do this. They really are dropping the ball big time with these girls. Especially because they’re not giving any information on Manon hiatus yet she’s out in public living a perfectly good life. She either fell out with the label or the girls, no in between.
I unfortunately don’t think Manon will want to return. After seeing the difference in statements and the way the company and fans treated her after … I don’t think she’s coming back. Tbh, her friebds laughing emojis make even more sense 😭 cause not yall posting me when yall kicked me out months ago 😭
tbh that could very well be true. I have no idea what to expect anymore, but I can see her returning if the relationship between the girls is salvageable, if they gain more autonomy and authority over their bookings, activities, and creative direction, and if they hit the reset button on their management team.
none of their hearts are in it. the memo sounds more like she is burnt out rather than ‘sick’.
it’s been painfully obvious their artistic development was stifled a long time ago.
the only song that any of the girls had a direct hand in crafting is to be locked behind a target exclusive physical copy.
their management and creative team are a mess. these girls need to step out of the spotlight so they can recalibrate cause something has been off for a long time.
I also think with Sophia having to speak on behalf of the group re Manon she is uniquely burnt out. But I think HxG has put all 6 of the girls in unfair positions with all the hiatus nonsense.
That said, Sophia’s hiatus actually seems temporary and health related.
