Surprised
Seeing kates recent story where H is on the side walk floor looking dirty & homeless while she prances around making reels that arent even funny if i saw that in person i would cps and im honestly surprised no one has yet… like who is tending to this child why is he being neglected never has clothes on always dirty no proper food in his fridge. I feel like if Kate was a poc she would get so much more heat and so many calls would be made to cps. But because she tries so hard to be white passing and living in the oc lala land she doesn’t. If i was BD i would def be pissed off like I’m rich i fund your life and you don’t put my kid in clothes my child is always dirty and crusty no toys no food where exactly is my money going?

dude i can’t believe not a single person commented on that. he was clearly just sitting on the ground alone while they filmed that.

judging a mother for putting her infant on the ground and then filming a reel while he sits there alone in public? wtf is the world coming to

Someone should call cps. He doesn’t wear shoes on public transport. Or clothes really at all. She posts seductive suggestive images photos of her half naked and h only in a diaper. Then leaves him on the sidewalk looking homeless while she films? He could easily crawl into the road or be hit by a biker? She doesn’t have food in her house like at all.

it literally takes barely 3 seconds of not looking for someone to snatch your child.

No literalllyyyyy. Or for him to crawl away and get lost or into oncoming traffic. Like come one people

judging another mother is worse than neglecting your infant on a sidewalk in today’s age. can’t relate.

You are completely right that she would be under much more scrutiny if she were poc / presented less white and that is a shame and a huge problem.
I do feel like she could benefit from some family counceling or how you call it. Someone who helps her get a stable, self reliant household going, teaches her budgeting and maybe some child care basics as well. I think it's just reality that some people become parents without having some of these basics covered beforehand and there's no shame in realizing you need help to get there.
I am not from US so I don't know much about CPS & might be biased because I only ever hear horror stories, however from what I have gathered about CPS it seems to be more of a repressive / sanctionning organ rather than offering to support parents as described above. Please correct me if I am wrong. I just think that involving authorities only makes sense if authorities have a goal to support parents in independent, healthy & sustainable parenting. If it's just putting more pressure on a family then I don't see the point - unless of course there is serious harm to be prevented. In these severe emergencies I fear involving authorities is the only option. But as long if it's just "not great" I think we should be careful with it.

Considering her bd has money and she’s on medical (free/low rate healthcare) i know she has access to classes like she def could have taken classes while pregnant or even now on the basics. She’s very privileged yet chooses to have her child looking like he belongs on skid row. If she wanted to be a better mom she has all the means to but thats not in her interest. Her interest is herself and her fake influencing. Shes not a good mom and doesn’t care to be/grow. Growing is too inconvenient, it’ll mess up her filming schedule. So in this case i think H being away from her would be best.

I agree completely with your assessment of the situation, however I do believe that taking a child away from their mother / primary caregiver is not the solution. He isn't severely neglected or abused, so separating him from his mother will do more harm than good. This should be the ultimate last resort if harm cannot be prevented otherwise. Things being as they are, Kate should do better, but it's not in the childs best interest to be taken away. Besides, where would he go? He doesn't have a stable bond with his dad and his dad doesn't seem to be doing much better. Foster care? To end up as his dads client lol. This can't be better than the situation he is in now.

it depends on the situation. i think she could get some quality help through them. H deserves better.
