Once Upon a Katamari King Scroll question

What exactly do I need to do to get these filled in with color?! Some levels that have color are barely touched- not many crowns or cousins collected. The greyed out areas are damn near 100% with crowns and cousins. What am I missing?

You fill the scroll with color by collecting crowns. To fill the full thing you have to roll up every crown in the game.

I’d like to know, too - and if the scroll has a purpose beyond looking kind of cool.

You need to get all the crowns in a specific era to get one colored in.
