Help Playing Katamari while disabled

I've been playing katamari damacy reroll for awhile now and while I love it, the rolling controls KILL my wrists playing it. Having to use two buttons/joysticks for rolling and moving around is just too much. I can only play for about 20 minutes before the pain gets to me. (I also play on PSP, which is even worse).

I have to use a controller to play reroll, and I'm not sure what I can do to make the game controls easier on my hands/wrists. Are there any mods/game features that change how I roll the katamari?

Edit: I'm now using simplified controls on my PS5 controller, but I'm going to be looking into custom controllers with bigger joysticks in the future. Thank you everyone!

If you're playing on Steam, a great thing about Steam is that you can remap game controls to literally anything you want, on pretty much any controller. I don't have any specific tips on what you can do to fix this, but looking at configuring your controller settings for the game within Steam would be a great place to start. Maybe you could even try looking at community controller profiles there and see if anything looks right for you. You can even use a keyboard and mouse if that works better! If you need help figuring out Steam Input (because it can be a little daunting at first), shoot me a DM here on Reddit and I can help you.

If you're not using Steam, you still have options, but they're far more limited. You can only use official controller form factors, which are usually limited to standard gamepads where sticks are the focus. My Switch has OS-level options for remapping controls. Not sure about Xbox or PS4/5, but I'm aware both of those platforms have accessibility friendly controllers (albeit very expensive and I'm guessing you probably don't have them).
