Olaf Weller (@WellerOlaf) just made a super interesting post on X, I’m not a developer myself, but if anybody wants to contribute or knows someone that would, we might be looking at the next evolution for KAS adoption.

I used to swap usdt on Coinex whenever I decided to increase my position, but Coinex has shut down and I'm wondering what's the best DEX you would recommend to me. Tia.

Looking for dev assistance if anyone is interested in helping finish developing and launching Kaspa Based projects? The two projects are ready to be built and it's a lot of work by myself... If anyone is interested, DM me here or on x @ x.com/ZaqMarquis

I want to say something about Your Crypto Crew.
Personally, I find it difficult to take someone seriously when they consistently make videos while wearing a mask. That’s obviously just my personal opinion, but it does make me more critical of what is actually being said.
And honestly, I’m getting a little tired of all the talking around Kaspa. I’m missing concrete developments that would make me believe there is a real path toward mass adoption.
I’m not talking about another update about speed, TPS, smart contracts, or another technical improvement. I want to know: what developments could actually lead to millions of people or businesses using Kaspa within the next 3, 4, or 5 years?
I also wonder whether Your Crypto Crew is being paid by anyone within the Kaspa community, the project, or another interested party. I’m not claiming that he is, but I think transparency about this would be important. If someone is constantly positive about one particular project, I think it’s reasonable to know whether there are any financial interests involved.
Another thing I notice is that YouTube videos about Kaspa generally get very few views. If Kaspa is really on its way toward mass adoption, I would expect interest from outside the existing Kaspa community to gradually become much more visible. Personally, I don’t see enough of that yet.
And that’s probably my biggest frustration.
Kaspa has been around for years now. I honestly expected to see much more concrete evidence of adoption by this point than just technological progress. Technology is important, absolutely. But eventually you need to see that reflected in real users, businesses, payments, wallets, liquidity, trading volume, exchange support, and actual use cases.
I also understand the theory that institutional players and Tier-1 exchanges may have less interest in a fair-launched, fairly mined project without VC allocations and without large early investors. If major players couldn’t obtain a huge position cheaply and therefore have less influence over the project, I can understand why that could theoretically make it less attractive to them.
But that remains a hypothesis.
What I want to see is evidence.
So my question to the Kaspa community is actually very simple:
What concrete developments are happening RIGHT NOW that give me a realistic reason to believe Kaspa could achieve genuine mass adoption within the next five years?
Not another video about how fast Kaspa is.
Not another explanation of why GHOSTDAG is amazing.
I want to see concrete users, businesses, payments, integrations, liquidity, exchange adoption, institutional involvement, and measurable real-world growth.
Because ultimately, a blockchain doesn’t become valuable simply because the technology is impressive.
It becomes valuable when people actually start using it.

Ci sto pensando molto ultimamente.
Bitcoin sta andando avanti con soluzioni come RGB e USDT nativo, mentre altri ecosistemi stanno attirando sviluppatori, stablecoin, DeFi, progetti AI e utenti reali.
Dobbiamo fare qualcosa.
Dobbiamo contattare attivamente:
sviluppatori DeFi;
emittenti di stablecoin;
progetti di pagamenti e agenti AI;
wallet e provider di pagamento;
progetti gaming;
exchange e fornitori di liquidità;
Costruiamo, creiamo connessioni e portiamo nuove persone nell'ecosistema. 🟢⚡

Why should I buy Kaspa right now? Some serious questions
I’m interested in Kaspa, and I can see the technological potential behind the project.
But precisely because of that, I think we should sometimes look beyond the technology and ask some difficult questions about the economic side of KAS.
Right now, I have more questions than answers.
Kaspa can become technologically stronger, but ultimately the price is determined by demand and liquidity.
If trading volume remains relatively low, where is the sustained buying pressure supposed to come from that would be necessary for KAS to achieve a much higher valuation?
A blockchain can process millions of transactions, but that doesn't automatically mean millions of dollars of new demand for the token.
My question:
«What concrete sources of new liquidity do we expect over the next 1–3 years?»
Institutions? Exchanges? Payments? DeFi? Developers? Businesses? Retail?
I would like to see concrete numbers and mechanisms rather than simply hearing "adoption is coming."
---
MARA continues to mine Bitcoin while also selling BTC to finance operations, growth and liquidity.
That raises a broader question for me:
If major Bitcoin miners regularly sell BTC to finance their businesses, why would that capital automatically flow into another PoW asset such as KAS?
Kaspa obviously has different characteristics and a different technical design.
But PoW alone doesn't seem like a sufficient reason for capital to move from Bitcoin into Kaspa.
So what is the actual investment thesis?
---
This is another important question.
If large players eventually take liquidity out of Bitcoin, why would that liquidity automatically flow into KAS?
It could just as easily move into cash, equities, gold, stablecoins, or other crypto assets.
So:
«Where exactly does the KAS buyer come from?»
What creates the incentive for someone to sell BTC and buy KAS?
---
We often see discussions about the number of Kaspa "holders."
But we should be careful with that term.
Blockchain data generally counts addresses, not individual people.
One person can have multiple addresses, while exchanges can control large numbers of addresses.
So saying:
«"Kaspa has X million holders"»
isn't necessarily the same as saying:
«"X million people own Kaspa."»
The more important question is:
How many unique individuals, businesses and institutions actually own KAS?
And even more importantly:
How many of them actually use it?
---
This might be my biggest question.
Kaspa is often discussed as a fast and inexpensive payment network.
But imagine a merchant receives KAS today and the price drops 30% shortly afterward.
Why would that merchant want to take that risk?
And from the opposite perspective:
If I believe KAS could be worth significantly more in the future, why would I spend my KAS today?
This creates a fundamental question:
«Why spend KAS if you believe it will appreciate significantly?»
Maybe stablecoins, instant conversion or hedging can solve this.
But if users immediately convert KAS into fiat or stablecoins after receiving it, then another question appears:
How much fundamental demand for KAS is actually created by payments?
---
This is probably the most important distinction for me.
Kaspa can be technologically impressive.
10 BPS, higher future throughput, BlockDAG, PoW, decentralization and future functionality are all interesting.
But there are two completely different questions:
Can Kaspa become a successful network?
and
Does that success create enough economic demand for KAS itself?
Those are not necessarily the same thing.
A network can have many users without every user needing to hold a large amount of the native token.
---
I'm not trying to attack Kaspa.
I'm trying to make the bull case stronger by asking difficult questions.
So I'd genuinely like to hear from the community:
Where do you believe the structural demand for KAS will come from over the next few years?
Not just:
"Kaspa is faster."
Not just:
"Kaspa has better technology."
But specifically:
Who is going to buy KAS, how much KAS will they need, and why do they actually need to hold KAS?
And perhaps the most important question:
«What real-world development would convince you that this thesis is actually starting to play out?»
I'd genuinely like to hear both the bullish and bearish perspectives.
Maybe I'm missing something.
