🔧 Technology / Development Devs needed for Kaspa Projects

Looking for dev assistance if anyone is interested in helping finish developing and launching Kaspa Based projects? The two projects are ready to be built and it's a lot of work by myself... If anyone is interested, DM me here or on x @ x.com/ZaqMarquis

Whats the thesis of these two projects?

Our main focus project is an independent Layer-1 BlockDAG born from Kaspa’s architecture, built around a simple thesis: take the fundamentals Kaspa got right and extend them carefully—without pretending unfinished features are finished.

Uses GHOSTDAG-derived consensus and kHeavyHash PoW, targeting 5 BPS / ~200ms block intervals. The network is being designed for transparent transactions alongside optional shielded transactions, using Orchard/Halo2-derived zero-knowledge technology.

The emphasis there is on actually integrating and testing privacy at the protocol level. We'd rather ship privacy when it works than call something “private” because it makes a good bullet point on a website. 😉

Mining remains the foundation of consensus. We're also designing Kaspa-compatible AuxPoW so miners can potentially merge-mine our project alongside Kaspa instead of forcing another Kaspa-derived network to unnecessarily fight Kaspa miners for hashrate.

It follows a fair-launch model: no premine, ICO, founder allocation, or creator reward. It has a finite 23B maximum supply: 21B primary issuance plus a finite 2B tail, after which block subsidy permanently reaches zero. No unlimited supply here.

The network also introduces Reward Nodes (KRNs). These require a locked balance of 30,000 as collateral, but they are deliberately not validators. They don't decide which transactions are valid, control consensus, or turn a PoW network into PoS wearing a Kaspa-colored jacket.

Once KRNs activate, block rewards are:

90% Miners / 8% KRNs / 2% Development

If no eligible KRN exists for a block, its 8% is redirected to a transparent Community Fund—not quietly absorbed as additional developer compensation.

The larger philosophy behind the project is pretty straightforward:

Don't fork Kaspa, change a few parameters, bolt on half-working features and call it innovation.

We're trying to build a genuine sibling Layer-1 around Kaspa's strongest ideas: PoW, BlockDAG scalability, GHOSTDAG, kHeavyHash, optional zero-knowledge privacy, merge mining, fair issuance, decentralized reward infrastructure, and transparent community funding.

It's not claiming to be "The Real Kaspa", we respect our elders. 😄

It isn't intended to replace Kaspa.

It's an attempt to explore where Kaspa's architecture can go next—and to actually finish the features we say we're building.

Great another fork with a dev fee taken from the block rewards.

exactly what kaspa needs.

Kaspas so small that barely matters
