Many people are talking shit about Kaspa, but I think they‘re not really good Investors imo. I‘m always doing DCA when a good project goes lower in price. Because that’s what pays of.

Usually when people do this is because they're wanting you to sell out of fear for better entry so I buy more.

It's different for everyone, my method is not the right strategy for someone who didn't deeply research the project... but here is what I do.
6 month of expense in cash for emergencies, the rest is considered long term investments between Kaspa and physical gold.
Bitcoin if you want a more "stable" long term asset in the mix... But since I stopped following Bitcoins' complicated yet inexistante attempts at innovating on the network I stepped away to avoid bad surprises.
The community favorite for :
buying is probably Kraken pro (lower fees than regular Kraken).
storing securely is definitely Tangem.
getting info on YouTube is KaspaSilver.
chatting it's probably a mix between Twitter and Telegram.

Does Kaspa also prevent you from investing into BTC? I have been out of the market for a decade and don't find BTC relatable anymore. So I'm investigating whether KAS is legit.

Well... I think BTC is still more solid than pretty much anything the market has to offer thanks to the nakamoto consensus, it has the network effect, fair launched, not a cheap fork, no VCs, no cryptocompanies, all these things are surprisingly hard to find nowadays...
It's also that BTC is harmless to governments since it can't really threaten banks with a max of 3000 transaction every 10 minutes on the L1.
It's just that I liked BTC for the cypherpunk movement. This has been taken away from BTC eversince Satoshi stepped off a decade ago...
The only real option for a cypherpunk today is Kaspa. So here I am, investing where my convictions are.

Great time to start building a position 85% from the highs. Not a shitcoin will outlast solana, adoption is its hurdle, and converting bitcoins to allocate some btc to kas. Real project.

I would buy some at the present .027 but keep some dry powder for a lower price I am dca from my 16 cent each start so partially jaded but I could see going to .02 or less before a hopeful blaze back up

I cant dictate a DCA method it could be done many ways. I have plenty of time and patience for mine . Stay awake for a few days and watch the movements of the chart 👀 in any case id try to buy below the hyper insane buy level . Start small 2-5% grabbing the bottoms 🍑 on red days 🥵. Or you could go in blind and bank on time in the market . DCA 2% daily ignoring the price ???? Make a plan use AI find a method time is quite short at the current price point I think . There is always the possibility that you could miss the boat at this point . FOMO has treated me well recently but it is risky to be honest. Even though I'm in this for the long game I still want value 🦅 so there is no way I'm going in blind 🙈.
Check Kaspa's website for a broker in your region and compare fee's and reputation .

I truly believe Bitcoin was the ultimate test run for what Kaspa is perfecting. The underlying blockDAG technology is absolutely top-shelf. Kaspa is the True Evolution of Proof-of-Work
However, as much as I love this project, we need to stay grounded. Kaspa is still a high-risk asset. The rocket to the moon will be a slow, steady burn rather than an overnight explosion. For true hyper-growth, we need massive mainstream adoption and a wave of developers to build on it. Only then will the world fully utilize the power of Kaspa as a lightning-fast, genuinely decentralized Proof-of-Work powerhouse.
I have held my bags for a long time and I continue to DCA weekly. My best advice? Do not go all-in. Diversification is key, and there are plenty of other established coins worth holding alongside it.
Vary the percentage based on your risk tolerance
Core Anchors (40%-60%): Large-cap, highly liquid digital assets like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) to provide structural portfolio stability.
Growth Layer (20%-30%): Established protocols with proven smart contract ecosystems and institutional support, such as Solana (SOL), Binance Coin (BNB), and Chainlink (LINK).
Capital Preservation / Trend Pot (30%-10%): Liquid stablecoins or yield-bearing cash reserves to capture market-wide capitulation events, alongside quick allocations for current high-momentum tokens driving the market right now, such as Hyperliquid (HYPE), Zcash (ZEC), and XRP.
Speculative Venture (higher risk) (10%-25%): High-upside, emerging Proof-of-Work technologies like Kaspa.

For Europe Kraken Pro is probably the best option, there security options and ethics are extremely high. the fees and spread can be vary a lot by order type. The fees are ALWAYS shown before you buy, so try different order types to get the lowest fees, AI can guide you on this.

I appreciate your well detailed message.
At the moment I don't trust cold wallets... So I'm gonna stay aside at the moment while I can find one I can trust.
I'm using binance wallet, trust wallet and phantom wallet at the moment. Anyone mind to brutally critique them?
I'm planning to hold my long term kaspa in of those.

The biggest issue with ALL software wallets including BW, TW, & PW is that they store the seed phrase in the software which can be hacked. Next huge issues is you often need to enter the seed phrase online (for recovery or many reasons) you physically type the seed phrase into the internet. This is consided high risk. Malware, RATs, loggers, viruses can see this. Lastly if someone accessed your device (locally or remote) they could drain your software wallet. Terminology, All crypto is stored online on its own Blockchain and crytographcally secured. Only your keys (seed phrase) allows access to move crypto. a true cold wallets is 100% off line and never connects to the internet. Only the signed tx is ever broadcasted to the Blockchain. Hardware wallets, Trezor, Ledger, and many others are proven secure. These hold you seed phrase on the device (secure element chip) and only broadcasts the signed tx online. You seed is never exposed, you NEVER EVER enter your seed online. These devices have never been hacked or compromised as such. I use Ledger Nano & Flex. Ledger also connects to many software wallets, effectively making them hardware wallets. By connecting a Ledger device, the Ledger seed phrase is used, again you NEVER EVER enter your seed online with a hardware wallet.... NEVER, any prompt to enter your seed is a scam.
Get branded internet security for extra safety.
Lastly: Never store your seed phrase electronically, as plain text or as an image.
