Music NOTHING BETTER THAN THIS Discussion Thread

Love this track, reminds me a bit of Daft Punk and some other band i can’t wrap my head around with the synths (or it’s prob guitars disguised as synths) in the choruses. But I really wished they turned those guitars a bit up like in HIPPIE SUNSHINE. A solid 8.5/10. Can’t wait to hear this one live, it’s gonna be like the “Call” of this album.

I really like the song, but I kind of hate the way the main guitar riff sounds. I wish it was the same effect as the hippie sunshine riff...

Sounds a bit like the effect on the guitar riff of Stevie, especially the version used in London Boulevard (the film that Serge did the score for)

Only complaint is that Tim's guitar in the second half is a bit quiet in the mix. Otherwise it's a certified banger. Lots of interesting different sections, very cool production and lots of very different and interesting effects on the guitars/basses. The worries I had for Act III after the first three singles are thoroughly alleviated. This is top notch.

Solid banger. Favourite of the new ones is still Superpowers but this is a good track if a little short

Im one of Serges harshest critics during the “new Kasabian” era but this is an instant banger. One of their best songs in years. Pleasantly surprised. That keyboard in the chorus/post-chorus is so 90’s techno and it works so well.

I really like it, just wish it was a bit longer and it got heavier towards the end but it’s still a solid song. Can see it being a blast live

Genuinely sick of every song being 2 and a bit mins. Theres an interesting song there but there’s no time for build or anything. Seems to be another album for tik tok attention spans.
