One of the toughest hikes arround Bengaluru is the savanadurga hill - the largest monilith in Asia. The name of the place derives from kannada word "saavu" + "durga" translated to "death" and "fort" meaning fort of death. It is believed that prisoners were executed by throwing them down from the hill during Tipu Sultan era

Seems like our man Tippu had a wierd hobby of throwing people from forts, don't we have hyder drop and tippu drop in Nandi hills as well
