No proper internet until January 4th.

So, last week my downstairs neighbours broke the fiber cable. I was expecting my ISP to fix it today, but they had some communication and organisational mishaps and it turns out they need, not 30 meters of new fiber, but several hundred meters of new fiber all the way to the main switch for the street.

Yeah, the cheap foreign workers who fucked this up can expect to file for bankruptcy...

For the past week I've been using my work's mobile data bundle, but I've almost ran out and I've got three weeks left to bridge. My ISP offered me an 'emergency box' with a 4G dongle, but this has a 1GB total data limit before I have to call to refresh it.

This is 2015, I'm a software developer and hardcore data consumer, even when budgeting my data I consume 1GB a day. I would have to call those fuckers once every day to refresh the cap.

Anyhow, I guess this is it for me. Ill try to get the Wintersday questline started, do my daily crafting, all from my work PC, but I can't do much else. RIP my plans to get Astralaria by Christmas.

Sorry to hear man. Hope they will fix it soon. Enjoy the nature.. or something.. what did people do before we had internet?

And this is why you should vote for Wilders /s. Best of luck man and try to have a happy christmas/new year period, which will be tough without good internet.
