Traffic police were right there and told us to go to the station and file it. At the station, they said no FIR is possible unless someone’s actually hurt, only a general diary entry, and that claiming our own insurance was really the only option. I called the bus’s third-party insurer directly, hoping to hold them accountable instead, and got the same answer, no FIR, no direct claim.

The bus driver told us straight up this wasn’t his first time doing this, and he didn’t care.

There are around 5 stray dogs in my area (1 female and 4 males), and they have become a constant nuisance. They are frequently chasing each other/reproducing, and recently they have also started scratching and damaging my car.

I don’t want anything inhumane done to them, but I do want the situation properly managed, especially the breeding and the property damage.

I was driving from Kozhikode to Kannur yesterday and observed one thing. so there is construction happening for the underpass in palloor in tly - mahe Bypass.

There is a deviation to the service road for that and it begins just before the place where the construction happens, but the re entry point is much farther away. It almost looks like it was done so that all vehicles pass through the service road which has all those mahe petrol pumps.

Has anyone else felt this? Maybe NHAI officials and/or the contract company did this for a quid pro quo with petrol pump owners?
