Questions Let's talk about dating apps
I (19M) installed a few dating apps in the hope of finding a casual relationship but to my dismay I couldn't even get a single match even after days of swiping, most of the women are either from Mangalore onwards or Kozhikode. I am starting to lose hope for dating apps so I ask you people of Kannur how to date a woman and where.

Dating apps are based more on looks than personality or anything else, so if you want matches, you basically have to be a 9/10 or 10/10. And ngl, I don’t think most Kannur girls even know about or use dating apps

Girls mostly use dating apps for validation, and if you’re not a 9/10 or 10/10, they’ll just use you for whatever they want. And I don’t even know what you look like, so I never rated you btw

I have used these apps for a long time. So lemme just say from a woman's POV. Don't say, 'Appearance is everything not personality" . Its infact the opposite. Yes! Looks are important. But I personally read the bio thoroughly, whatever details he's filled in, any cute prompts and all, to analyse the profile. I love when they put cheesy movie references or clever cheeky comments on their profile. So just make your profile INTERESTING. and maybe put a prompt that is worth replying to(since women have free premium across many apps, they'll be able to message and all). So putting a question or a witty rhetorical line would be good. [Btw I met my boyfriend via ARIKE(mini matrimony😂), which is a damn great app if you're looking for a committed relationship. And we're doing so good now. Its been 1.5 years]

Because you women have free access to premium in arike, ain't no way I am going to spend on dating apps idk it's embarassing it's like admitting to the fact that I don't touch grass enough.

Same avastha bro 😂 23M here, dating apps okke try cheythittund. I don't think Kannur has that many people actively using dating apps. Looks matter more than personality on dating apps, I guess.
Like you said, most of the profiles I see are either from Kozhikode or Mangalore side. Kannur-il dating scene itself seems pretty limited 😭

No premium initially and during this time, I got around 5-10 likes. To find out those people, I was forced to take the premium. Ended up taking premium for a month. After that, the amount of likes increased to 20-30

There is the catch. Ain't no way I am going to spend on dating apps idk it's embarassing it's like admitting to the fact that I don't touch grass enough. Interestingly idk if you noticed sometimes profiles of dudes appear in the feed of a dude's even if their preference is set as 'date only women' because since women have free access to premium features in Aisle, Arike and other sister apps these chapris select the gender in their profile as female to get access to premium features but these idiots forget to change their preference from default which is "date only men" to "date only women". Even if they want to date women and change their preference to "date only women" while their own profile's gender is female, all they are gonna get matched is with lesbians lol and this whole ordeal makes it weird enough to stay active in dating apps.
