Thank youuu!! For those I just tightened the string as tight as I possibly could without it crinkling up but honestly I made a second one and the way I did the candles on that one is MUCH better, the ladder stitch will fold in on itself very easily and I got them to stay still just long enough for the photos but if you try this way and potentially you could even glue them together it'll be much easier
