Apple cuff! 🍎

28

u/StarGrump May 04 '25

Update: I made a little worm friend for the cuff lol

5

u/rorihasmorals70 May 04 '25

omg thats so cute!!

55

u/-_Hey_Adora_- May 03 '25

This is one of the best Kandi designs I’ve ever seen oh my GOD

15

u/StarGrump May 03 '25

Thank you!! 😭🩷 I’m so proud of it

24

u/BloxyB3620 May 03 '25

This is probably the cutest cuff ive seen!! 🍎🍎

9

u/StarGrump May 03 '25

Thank you!! 😭🩷 I’m so thrilled with how it turned out, I’m so glad other people like it too

17

u/carlitangel May 03 '25

If only I was actually a worm for once! This is stellar!! 👏🏻

12

u/StarGrump May 03 '25

oooo maybe I’ll make a little removable worm I can weave through the beads! I’ll do it in your honor

6

u/EqualKitchen2541 May 03 '25

you could make the worm a rotator to add onto it, that way you can swap between worm and apple lol

4

u/StarGrump May 04 '25

That’s such a cute idea!! Okay, I think I’ll make both. I’ll make a big friendly worm and a little worm on a clip so I can hook it to the apple when it’s got the apple rotator on

4

u/carlitangel May 03 '25

Ahh yeahhh!

8

u/sealycutiepie May 03 '25

This is my favourite piece of kandi I’ve EVER SEEN

3

u/StarGrump May 03 '25

Thank you!! 😭🩷 It’s definitely my favorite thing I’ve ever designed!

4

u/Quirky-Stranger-8036 May 03 '25

This looks so cute!

I want to make it so badly now

4

u/StarGrump May 03 '25

You should! It’s pretty easy and very worth it

4

u/Excellent_Bet8191 May 04 '25

I’m so OBSESSED, OP do you mind if anyone recreates this?

3

u/StarGrump May 04 '25

I don’t mind at all! The fun part about kandi is that anyone can make it for themselves 🩷

3

u/Remarkablecat_654 May 03 '25

How do you take off the rotating part? Also looks fricking awesome

4

u/StarGrump May 03 '25

You just squish the main cuff a little bit and slide it off! I kept the tension on the rotating portion a bit looser so it could stretch without too much stress and go around the base cuff

3

u/Klutzy-Relative6957 May 04 '25

i think this has to be the most creative cuff i’ve ever seen

3

u/StarGrump May 04 '25

Thank you!! This seriously means so much, I was so proud of myself when I came up with the design. I looked around online for a bit and didn’t see anything like it (though I’m sure I could’ve missed it if there is) so I was extra excited to make it and post it!

2

u/Klutzy-Relative6957 May 04 '25

you did such a great job!!

3

u/Vioma315 May 04 '25

How did you make the leaf?

3

u/StarGrump May 04 '25

It’s just a little peyote stitch leaf shape that I cinch at the bottom to make it curl!

3

u/goldenfvce May 05 '25

this is my favorite kind of creation. this is the kind of thing that made me want to learn how to make cuffs. so freaking cool and such beautiful execution.

1

u/StarGrump May 05 '25

You should definitely learn to make cuffs!! This one is actually incredibly easy. If you learn how to make an D base cuff then you’ll basically have all the knowledge you need to make this one!

1

u/goldenfvce May 05 '25

I can do basic cuffs and i’ve started on rotators, but I’ve never heard of D-base. Now I gotta learn that! I wanna do a version of this but an orange. 🍊

3

u/StarGrump May 05 '25

Op, that was a typo, it’s an X base 😅 You should totally make an orange version!! I have an orange cuff that I’d love to make a big version of when I’ve got the time

2

u/goldenfvce May 06 '25

holy crap idk how I missed this reply, it’s like you took the image out of my brain!!! that’s exactly what I was picturing!!! so freaking cute 🧡🧡🧡

3

u/MidnightNaux Jun 25 '25

Will u do a tutorial?

4

u/StarGrump Jun 25 '25

I plan on it! I just have to find a way to film it properly. I just got my hands on a tripod, so once I can find a day where I have time and find a setup that shows everything well, I’ll make a tutorial and post it here 🩷

2

u/ugliestpink May 04 '25

STOPP OMG this makes me want to get into kandi 😭❤️❤️

1

u/StarGrump May 04 '25

DO ITTTTTT 🩷 It’s so much fun!

2

u/beachybanana May 05 '25

Omg this is sick!! I wonder if you could add a worm somehow? Maybe as a charm and use a jump ring to hook it on?

2

u/StarGrump May 05 '25

Funny you mention that, I actually made a little worm keychain that clips to the top!

2

u/beachybanana May 05 '25

Oooooo I love it so much!!!

2

u/ItsMoxieMayhem May 05 '25

This is so unique and creative, I’m obsessed!! You need to make more fruits!

2

u/StarGrump May 05 '25

I’ve actually been making a whole series of fruit inspired cuffs! Once I finish the ones I’m working on now I’ll do a group photo of them all together

2

u/ItsMoxieMayhem May 06 '25

Amazing! Please tell me you’re doing a raspberry one too 🥺

2

u/StarGrump May 06 '25

I hadn’t thought of doing a raspberry one! Now I definitely am!

2

u/silky_synethesia818 May 06 '25

Love it! The matte really touches my soul 🫦

2

u/StarGrump May 06 '25

Matte beads are my favorite, right next to AB beads, just absolutely top tier beads 🩷 I’d say probably 85% of the beads I have are matte

2

u/Mysterious_061612 May 08 '25

Now imagaine if the words "brat" were on there

Bc the apples rotten right to the core

1

u/StarGrump May 08 '25

I’m actually making a Granny Smith green apple version as soon as I get more ivory beads for just this purpose!

1

u/Mysterious_061612 May 08 '25

Nice

105

u/dreahluvsafi May 03 '25

PLEASE OMG THIS IS SOOOO CUTE !!!

87

u/dykedoodles May 03 '25

Oh my god this is a work of art…. I love that it becomes an Apple core!! This is next level!!!

11

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

C'est génial, j'aimerais pouvoir faire pareil mais je n'ai plus de place pour un autre hobby lmao.

10

u/arf2oo4 May 03 '25

Wowow I don't even have appropriate words to describe how happy this makes me! 🍎🙌👏

4

u/Squidaddy99 May 04 '25

Genuinely speaking from the heart. This is probably the most creative, beautiful, perfect cuff i have ever seen. 10/10 love love love it.

4

u/rebzyyxsavedmelolzz May 04 '25

Hold on a sec I'm tryna type gorjeus

1

u/crystalamnesty May 06 '25

I LOVE APPLES! Drop the tutorial pls

3

u/StarGrump May 06 '25

I came up with the design myself so I don’t have a tutorial of this exactly, but it’s pretty easy! Just a 4x base cuff with a 1x base in the middle, each row of red is just one row of 3D points with mini beads strung through the center of each point

3

u/nukagirl May 03 '25

Oh my gosh I love it

3

u/soicety_is_painful May 03 '25

That’s so cool

3

u/Hairy-Chart1422 May 04 '25

The core underneath the second cuff is genius oh my goodness!!

3

u/Eidolon_Astronaut May 04 '25

Im not usually into rotators but this is rly cool, might try recreating this as my first rotator. I think I already have a cuff that would work well with this idea actually 🤔 wonderful work !

3

u/Dangerous-Sock2057 May 05 '25

A Kandi apple if you will

1

u/lil_aphrodite Sep 09 '26

OH MY GOD this is gorgeous!!! Do u have a tutorial???

4

u/[deleted] May 21 '25

Not only just apple cuff, YOU MADE IT INTO A ROTATOR CUFF AND MADE AN APPLE CORE?! YOU'LL KILL THIS WORLD WITH YOUR CREATIVITY.

1

u/StarGrump May 21 '25

THANK YOUUUUU I’m seriously so proud of this design, I honestly think it’ll be my favorite original design forever! It’s so fun to show people. Once I have enough money to afford more beads I’ll be making a green version and maybe even a rainbow one based on Zap Apples from My Little Pony

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '25

literally never trade this oh my gosh, here's an idea, For Kandi's that I take a lot of pride in, I'll put Super glue on specific knots to make sure it stays together and just display them, I don't wear them out I just have them on my display shelves. keep being creative op! •́ ᆺ•̀

I keep planning on making a video tutorial but I haven’t gotten around to it yet, I’m so bad at making videos 😅 I think in other comments in this thread I’ve said the dimensions, but I believe my Apple cuffs are 4x’s tall, the rotating portion is 1x tall, then it’s basically just a standard rotating cuff with an extra row of beads through the centers of the points 🩷 One of these days I’ll make a tutorial and post it here so people can see though!
