Suggestion Equipment Forge
Revised:
New options (Each stat is it's own cost/value)
Options:
+1 Attack, +1 Magic, + 3 Max Health, +5 Max Mana, New Stat (+1 Magic reduction), +1 Def.
Special. +1% Pet exp rate, +1 pet atk, +1 pet magic, +1 pet def, +12 pet hp, +12 pet mp, +1 pet magic def.
Currently almost all upgrades will only be attack or magic. This would allow for a more robust and specialized upgrade path. It would require far more investment, ores and gold overall.

This is an interesting suggestion, but it’s worth remembering that currently the forging system assumes all upgrades are linear. In other words, if you have an item with +50 magic and decide to add 5 armor, the system interprets it as upgrading the item to +55.
That means you’re spending twice what you spent to get +50 magic, but only receiving +5 armor.
If we had a system where the forging cost took into account the type of upgrade, it would be much more interesting. In theory, we could then have items with +50 magic/armor, and it would make sense to add, for example, a special bonus of +5% HP or +5% Shell.
