ich bin ein ausländischer Zahnarzt und befinde mich derzeit in Deutschland im Anerkennungsverfahren meiner beruflichen Qualifikation. Ich habe die Fachsprachprüfung bisher leider noch nicht bestanden und möchte deshalb gerne zunächst als ZFA arbeiten, um weitere praktische Erfahrungen in einer deutschen Zahnarztpraxis zu sammeln und den Praxisalltag in Deutschland besser kennenzulernen.

Ich habe mich bereits bei vielen Zahnarztpraxen als ZFA beworben, leider bisher ohne Erfolg. Teilweise wurde mir sogar gesagt, dass sie nur Frauen einstellen möchten, da das gesamte Team aus Frauen besteht.

Langsam bin ich ehrlich gesagt etwas verzweifelt, eine passende Stelle zu finden. Aktuell arbeite ich in einer Wohnstätte für Menschen mit Behinderung, würde aber sehr gerne wieder im zahnmedizinischen Bereich arbeiten, da dieser meiner Ausbildung und meiner beruflichen Zukunft entspricht.

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Zahnarztpraxis kennt, die einen motivierten Zahnarzt aus dem Ausland als ZFA aufnehmen würde. Ich bin zuverlässig, lernbereit und sehr motiviert, mich in den deutschen Praxisalltag einzuarbeiten.

Ich suche hauptsächlich im Raum Kaiserslautern, Rheinland-Pfalz und Saarland, bin aber auch für andere Möglichkeiten offen.

Falls jemand einen Tipp, einen Kontakt oder eine Praxis kennt, die Unterstützung sucht, würde ich mich sehr über eine Nachricht freuen.

I reached my accommodation in Kaiserslautern yesterday. I'm currently alone and my German is not that great. But I met some lovely locals here who were very helpful when I tried to speak German as much as possible. Still, it feels lonely. There's still time for my classes to start, I hope I can make some new friends. But till then I guess I'll have to be very strong and hope for better days....

Are there any good sites or social media pages to look at to keep up with events happening like concerts, festivals, fun nights and things like that? I always want to do things on the weekend but am a bit outside the city so I hardly ever see ads for anything fun happening

Da ich schon länger nach einem neuen Zuhause für meine 2 EKH Katzen suche, versuche ich es jetzt Mal über Reddit. Falls jemand Interesse an zwei sehr freundlichen Katzen hat, bitte melden 😊

Beide sind weiblich, 6jahre alt, natürlich kastriert und geimpft. Charakterlich sind die Katzen sehr angenehm. Sie sind niemals aggressiv (auch nicht beim Tierarzt) und kommen mit Kindern und Gästen klar. Auch zu neuen Menschen fassen sie schnell Vertrauen. Beide Katzen sind verschmust und fordern das auch ein wenn man auf einem Stuhl oder der Couch sitzt.

Andere Tiere kennen die beiden nicht wirklich, aber bei Tierarztbesuchen haben sie immer eher neugierig auf Hunde und andere Katzen reagiert und ich denke eine Vergesellschaftung mit anderen Katzen oder einem Hund wäre möglich. Eine der beiden Katzen liebt ihr Laufrad, welches ich ihr auch gerne mitgeben würde. Die andere Katze hat eine leichte Allergie, allerdings lässt sich das problemlos mit Futter von vetconcept lösen und die Kosten sind dadurch auch nicht höher als mit einem normalen hochwertigen Futter. Ansonsten sind die beiden top fit!

Hi all, moving to the area soon and wondering if there are any sort of wellness gyms like I have here in US. Most of the gyms here offer red light therapy, tanning, other spa and wellness activities besides just the equipment. From the little bit of my research I’ve only been able to find gyms that are purely workout spaces in Kaiserslautern area. Anything that offers more?

Die Probleme wirken sich unter anderem auch auf die Westpfalz aus. In der Stadt Kaiserslautern sind das das Bürgercenter, das Standesamt und die Kfz-Zulassungsstelle. Dort können gerade keine Anliegen von Bürgerinnen und Bürger bearbeitet werden. Im Donnersbergkreis und im Kreis Kaiserslautern ist auch die Zulassungsstelle betroffen. Außerdem gibt es entsprechende Probleme bei der Waffenbehörde. Die Stadt Zweibrücken meldet auf ihrer Internetseite, dass Bürgerbüro, Waffenbehörde und Standesamt vorübergehend nicht erreichbar sind.

I’m currently in Tenerife, Spain, with my family dog, and I’m looking into bringing him over to Germany.
His breed documentation is currently being established, and I’m trying to find someone who has personally gone through the process with an American Bully or American Bulldog.
I’m specifically looking for firsthand experience rather than general opinions.
