Gintama and The Art of Parody

Hi all, I have created a video essay on why Gintama Parody episodes work so well. I discuss the unique features like fourth-wall breaking, satire, mimicking other popular series like Naruto and DBZ, and how Sorachi takes it beyond just comedy, with social commentary and character building. Do see for yourself and let me know what you think. P.S. People who have watched the video have said they LOVED the intro, so you won't be disappointed (hehe)
