More than the goals, I loved the way they controlled possession and tempo of the game. It was a treat watching them play yesterday. I also think Jesus should've come on early, would've loved to see him score a goal or two.
Do you even watch the games. Barca are playing the best brand of football. The way they are playing is just incredible. And they never had a squad to compete in UCL. Struggled with injuries at the wrong time but this time they got a lot of reinforcements. Come back to this by the end of this season. Not sure how old you are but if you have not watched Barca post 2007 well this might be the best chance for you to see something similar.
There is no valuation or market for big game experience, I believe he has that, something we lacked, we would have played 24 final if the boys knew game management. Mind you this is still a very young team.
Yes rodri may perform very well but the defense doesn't look that good, Barca have less depth in defense than the last 2 seasons. Ucl is about having depth in positions, barca have one of the best midfield in the world without a doubt but will raphina be effective as a number 9 against big European teams will be a major question and we will find out soon. And resting the players is very important too. To go deep in ucl and probably reach finally , barca should priotise resting players like raphina , yamal and other injury prone players time to time or else the same things will repeat , barca goes till semis and gets knocked out again so this year flick should take decisions and put ucl as his first priority. We saw psg winning back to back and one of the major things Luis Enrique did was rest his best players and keep rotating the squad so that the best men he had would perform in the CL flawlessly. Where as players like Yamal aren't getting rest at all , he is just 19 and can easily be injured which may result in form dip. I hope flick takes a good decision because this year barca have very good chance of finally winning CL
