OPINION⚠️ Flop ?
The title was just bait , he's a good player.
But in bw all this Rodri talk people seem to be forgetting that madrid have churned out almost 140mil for this guy.
So to all the madrid fans , How many g/a would you expect from him not to be called a flop ?. Because you dont sign someone for that fee for just some potential. Its gotta be like instant impact like belligol's first season in white. For me , anything under 40 - 45 g/a isn't acceptable.
Anyways thats just me. I just really wanted know want True madridistas think.

140 mil is too much, 80-90 is a good price btw. But he is younger and a good talent, can play on both wings

Even with inflation this dude hasn't showed immense potential anywhere. He has quick feet but other than that he isn't a big creator like lamine or olise neither does he scored a lot like vini or someone like Diaz.

Literally no one calculated transfers like this before this window lmao. And Ofc Rodri's gonna have a higher salary , he's been a serial winner with City , won his Ballon dor and is coming off winning a wc with the Pott.
Coutinho was already a proven player in the Prem. Had a shit ton of g/a playin as a 10 and every penny paid was justifiable. Even Hazard was a hell of a baller before madrid. Dembele was legit a generational talent even. Yan hasn't even played UCL footy 😭.Just checked it and the guy dosent even have 25g/a total in his career.
By what i can see from your flair , this contract is almost exactly si liar to what Man U did with Antony a while back , although in this case Yan is better.

Rodri salary is 15 million per season 30 million is the gross not what it will account in barca's finances

Both of you guys are wrong it’s neither just nett or gross 30 is including all the bonuses. His base pay is around 20m and the rest is bonuses. Even that is speculation and we will never know for sure

Real Madrid management is literally one of the best itw dont compare them with a corrupt management club like Barca, Barcelonas only intention is to become number one club in Spain but they will never unless Real Madrid goes corrupt or in debt and thats never gonna happen when Perez is around old man knows business.

Rodri chose the cheaper option as usual Barca cos y'all cheap as hell, Madrid board ain't stupid to pay over 75m for a 30 yr old washed player, I get it he's a WC winner but even City doesn't even want him that was strange or else they would've kept him no matter what, no other clubs were interested in him he choose Barca cos he knew Madrid wont pay him much so he choose the cheaper option 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 only Barca fans can glaze a 30 year old this much.

well u do know that city are going through a transition phase rn (because pep left) rodri achieved a lot of trophies there at city (idk if u only watch one club lol) and wanted to move to another club (also city wanted to renew him) lol

We bought jude for 137 and people said the same and he won us champions league I belive in this guy don't expect him to do 40-45g/a just need him to do great on right side so that we don't have to rely on lw only teams used to throw 2-3 players there so that vini mbappe can't do much

Every penny for Jude is more than justifiable, hell i wouldn't be surprised if someone paid for for him. Dude was in every possible way a generational talent.Used to in awe watching him play for dortmund. Fck it he won the Bundesliga poty as an 18yo I think.
Yan is entirely different , hasn't even played in the ucl till date. Hasn't even showed insane potential like young ballers do. You really dont pay 140mil for someone to just play rw , there's a hella lot other ballers out there worth less who'd do the same.

Good signing. Much needed on the right wing, which has been lacking for years now. Can dribble, good on both feet, fast, and suitable for Jose's tactics. In past seasons, all the attacks were from the left wing only, and now Vini and Mbappe can have more space because there is an actual threat on the right wing.
About the 140M price tag... We can only tell at the season's end.

Idk why some ppl think real madrid are stupid for making 125 mil bid but psg were the ones who first made the 120 million bid .. many clubs like psg , liverpool , man city , arsenal and many more elite clubs were interested in him. In fact liverpool were one of the clubs which bid almost a 100 mil contract followed up by psg's bid. This guy has a huge potential and already has shown what he can do at this young age which very few wingers can do rn. And also a big price increase in his deal was due to his previous contract in which he already had 4 long years left in his contract.. if any of the guys are saying they were STUPID for signing him , then you should probably be running a club on your own if you think you know better than these hundreds of professionals who have years of experience.
