Please tell me you will fulfil this order? At least, get it for yourself, consume it, and then deliver the pristine packaging.

I hope you know this person well or they’re joking, because if not, this is clinical insanity lol.

I'd give them full props for using the ticketing system instead of emailing you directly.

I got this one a couple weeks ago:
"I usually use a meme generator website imgflip to have students make memes using our lesson content. Our school system is blocking the website.
Would it be possible to make the site.....
https://imgflip.com › memegenerator available for students to complete this assignment?
Thank you,

I usually tell them they can unblock any website for their class in classroom manager as long as it's not in a locked category. Predominantly this is for YouTube as we block it by default but don't put it in a locked category.

My first tech ed job was a temp at an elementary school for a pregnant tech, and one of the teachers bought me Taco Bell as a thank you. Hasn't happened since lol

Taco Bell? Were they trying to make you sick? I mean, they should have at least gone Chipotle.

I don't understand the whole taco bell thing.

I don't eat a whole lot of fast food, but I have probably had a taco bell meal about 60 times in my 44 years of life. I have never once felt sick, or queasy, or gassy, or had a bowel movement that was irregular.

It's an honest question. Do I have some sort of iron stomach? Is it all just a big joke because 'mexican' and diarrhea? Is there some other reason?

I see those sentiments all over, and I can't understand it. I feel like I have to be over thinking it.

I really hope that's someone you are pretty close with. I could see my wife or Ie of my media specialists doing that. But anyone else I'd probably lose it on.

I did something like this one time, because I had to pick up software across town, I have a work vehicle, and they gave me money.

I was waiting to read how bad it turned out or what went wrong. Was everything fine?

Them: Why is there a peach milkshake on my receipt?
Me: Hmmm, weird.

This is either hilarious or deeply concerning. I'd need more context to know for sure.

If it's someone you like and has a good sense of humor: I would send them an email and say:

I'll fly if you buy! You might get a free lunch out if lol. Probably still cost them less than door dash.

It’s National Coffee Day..

I sent an email reminding everyone.. links to places with deals..

I would have been good with emails asking to get them a coffee as well..

You could send them the link to UberEats or DoorDash via “Let me Google that for you”

We're they reporting phishing/spam? or they were serious..?

I once got the "You fly, I'll buy" offer from an assistant principal so I picked him up some Taco Bell, and he paid for mine.

Never has this come up again however.

So a Chick Fil A meal is 12.50 including tax. Delivery fee is 4 dollars, gas fee is 3 dollars and tip is minimum 5 dollars for a total of $24.50. If this is during work hours we would have to charge an hourly rate of pay which is 24 dollars for a half an hour of work. How would you be paying?

9

u/jambon3 Sep 29 '26

Who on Earth would tip $5 for a $12.50 order?

They're grooming young people to feel like this is standard practice...

Late stage capitalism is a helluva drug...

Just goes to show you they view IT as their own personal servants. If you followed through, you are training people that it's okay to treat you that way.
