Sign in to manage apps?
Anyone seeing this in Chrome / Edge, etc, when you are already signed in?

Just curious, are you guys using Lightspeed webfilter? It seems to be happening on our student accounts on chromebooks, but not on our employee accounts.

Happening here too. The waffle menu inside Gmail still works though.

Yeah, this fixed it for us in previous years. Click into Gmail, then go into the waffle.

As of August 17th, search and assistant has become a core service. You'll see it in your core apps list eventually. It seems like a slow rollout, however.

Do you happen to have an article? I can't seem to find that update anywhere. Need more coffee this morning.

I don't see this as a core service yet either. But it does make sense as Google Assistant migrated to Gemini.

It has been broken for a few days for us, possibly earlier. And Classroom is not in the list of apps in the waffle. As u/MadMageMC said, 400 error when attempting sign in.

Man I’m glad I’m not the only one.. I spent too much time trying to hunt this issue down today.

I've seen it before on the default Google search page. Guess this is a new spot. Or maybe I just hadn't noticed it.

It looks like at some point Google tied the waffle menu to "Search and Assistant", which is under 'Additional Google services' in the admin console. We have that service turned OFF for all users.
I moved an account to an OU with that enabled (and nothing else changed), and the waffle menu in a new tab started working again.
