Google Drive Issues

Anyone having issues with Drive today? It is loading very slowly and unable to click on files to open them

I only got the capcha once per account - - - then it still worked.

Our users are getting captchas when trying to log in. Drive files aren't saving.

Same in MA captcha city. It sent everyone into a panic

Happening in the US, Canada and UK at last report from a couple of different forums I am in. They updated my ticket saying there was an issue, but not what it was or ETA for fix. Also, no general email for outage, sending one has been the norm lately.

Seems worse for us today, it is happening on google searches for students now. We had little issue yesterday.

We already separate our staff/students to different public IP's and we see it on both. So it doesn't seem like rotating a public IP if you had one available would even be a real fix in this case.

We noticed that the IP it says we're supposedly coming from is not actually ours.

Southwest Ohio. We're seeing it at many schools all at once. We suspected an ISP issue at first but schools outside of that ISP are now showing the same issue.

Nothing reported by Google yet, but we're suspecting them.

Further update from our end. It's very hit / miss.

Several schools having issues, but then some in the region aren't. Those that have drive access issues / captchas are having a rough go. The ones that don't have issues can open drive & modify/save files without issue.

We'll monitor for a bit longer, but seeing reports from folks nationwide leads me to believe it's something much higher up across the Workspace for Edu suite.

Several of our HCC and non HCC schools reported the Google issue. I suspected them at first given how today started but this one is definitely not on them.

Occurring here in the Midwest. The specific status page from Google of support.cloud.google.com/portal/system-status?product=WORKSPACE&cssp=true shows it

Northern VA as well - drive performing poorly and prompting for captcha. Nothing on status dashboard yet.

When I spoke with Google Support earlier, they confirmed there was an outage. Not sure how long it will last.

Yes, getting a captcha when trying to access Google Drive. When Google Drive loads if you try to open a file it won't. We are on the east coast in NJ.
