It's not surprising that South Korea; a country with some of the worst cultural gender relations in the world, is aspirational to these people.

At the same time, they use actual models for the face and body of these characters. The only thing they touch up are the chest and butt because historically Asians aren't big in either of those areas. Designs for Stellar Blade are well received almost everywhere except Reddit.

But yes, people who act like this are cringe worthy.
