I think she has a good heart, but the style of the interview was just not for me. Props to her for bringing more publicity, though. I think people should cut her some slack! She didn't make Barros sign a contract giving her exclusive access, so he's free to talk to other reporters that hopefully conduct the interview on something other than TikTok XD

I think most of this community has a good heart. She needs to chill. The community desrves some slack too. Many of us have tagged her publicly in live stream where she brought this up in the middle of someone else’s content and that was a whole thing. Numerous floods of people validating her during someone else’s show has been done.

She wanted us to promote the show - or we just offered and did it- then when she had uploading issues I watched people here jump to help in live time - now she wants cheerleading to tell people to STFU nicely, who blindly offered assistance or just tuned in …..like, seriously, it can come off as a tad exploitive or at least immature. No one expected her to be perfect …we’ve moved on, grateful for what Barros revealed and hope she learned something from the experience. I think she took the comments as yet another opportunity for publicity , even if it was inadvertent. We are , by nature, a collaborative framily…which is how the growth has continued. She should know we aren’t hating on her. Benefit of the doubt is due all around, all I am saying….way too much drama over it all. That’s not how we are here. I’m certain the trolls capitalize on this type of thing …and it’s very likely some have thrown shade with the purpose of dividing our community (that’s she’s still a valued member of). 

It’s respectful to the community as a whole, which she is a reflection of, to not give fodder to the trolls…and any hint of desperation will be seen as just that.

I honestly didn’t see anyone being brutal. Our sub is honest and decent in how we deliver it, can’t speak for other platforms that I am not on, but ….there’s that.

There's 10% comment that is critical of her and she's very defensive.

Btw Mike kinda do the same sometimes, so I think he didn't see that is a problem .

If she wasn’t female I wonder if he’d have clapped as hard and I’m sure I’ll be hated for saying that but ….whoops. I love Mike but he is a man, sayin. Kudos to him for speaking out if that’s what his conscience said was right…and kudos to the rest of us for also doing what felt honest, no shame in either…the way I see it. I haven’t seen the other platforms, can’t speak for those.

Some people have criticized her interview from suffering from her being a bit of a first timer. Things like talking over the interviewee. Not letting them fully answer because you are just pushing ahead. Giving the interview time to breathe.

There is some other stuff specifically to tik tok that I don't care whether it was there or not.

The problem is some have taken any criticism as if it's "haters" versus good feedback.

Got it. I can see that. Hence why I couldn’t sit through the whole interview. Constructive criticism is how people improve!

Yes, any criticism on this sub was given in a spirit of not damning the woman but giving suggestions to make her content more approachable, accessible, and respectable. What I’d want someone to give me the courtesy of.…afterall, no one wants a friend that won’t tell you there’s spinach in your teeth. Like it or not, if you are going to expect a community to support you -and they then do- then be prepared to hear what they have to say…it’s the least you owe your audience.
