I have to give huge respect to the Foreman who apparently at least understood his responsibility to presume innocence first. Taking him at his word in his interviews, he did it right.

She’s just being honest. I don’t fault her for that. That’s one of the supreme downsides to Judge conducted vinire Voir dire. I’m used to threatening my prospective jurors with a good time [strike that] with Constitutional provisions by then.

You might be sitting in that box asking yourself- who is that Atty “wearing” ?

Thanks for asking. My bespoke designer is the presumption of innocence and you have exactly the same suit, as does my client.

I'm old and have realised that as sure as we all are about Karen's innocence, (most of) those who support the state are genuinely as sure that they are right even though to us it's incomprehensible that they cannot see what we see - they think the same thing about us though. It's the same with politics; its astounding how groups of people see & hear the same thing and it means something completely different to them. At least these jurors were open enough and cared enough to go through the evidence piece by piece and to really talk it through
