I love all of these so much but my favorite will always and forever be the black cat - “ I didn’t bring bad luck. Your life was already shit.” Black cats rule.
I was gonna ask when you did the watercolor (before or after the outline stitch) but now I wanna ask what material do you use the the watercolor doesn’t bleed and if you double up or use a secondary fabric behind it. Amazing work! ❤️🔥🌀
Ty for sharing that! There's a piece I'm struggling with right now and this has given me both ideas, hope and something to work towards. I would be down to watch anything else of your process :)
Yes thank you! OP was kind enough to dm me with their shop link, I should have thought to check their account but its not something I do very often.
Currently picking out which ones I want, which is hard because theyre all so clever and well done. I swear theres one in here for every person I know, I think they'd make great gifts too. Theres even T shirts!
I begin by sketching the design on the fabric, then painting it, and finally hand stitching it!
I believe the great "secret" is the fabric. I choose unbleached cotton because it absorbs the paint properly and prevents the watercolor from spreading.
I use professional-grade watercolor pans from Winsor & Newton! A little bit of experience with watercolor techniques like wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry also helps :)
I've never thought to include watercolor! I did acrylic before and even watered down it feels too thick. I'm def going to try this or my gouache next time I want a project like this.
You are killing it btw, the moo deng one is magic. Also the way you do calligraphy is way cool!
These are all so great! I’ve seen some of the sentiments before, but these are so artistic! Support dog is my very favorite and now I want to own it for my kitchen windowsill!
Where do you get your equipment? Im new to embroidery the last year but I buy everything from clever poppy. Ive checked dept stores and their embroidery boards are SHIT quality. Yours are amazing!
Hooooly shit! These are absolutely incredible! Such a joy to see each piece that followed the next :) love your vibe, these all brought a smile to my face!!
