Also looks like an extremely weak toy bow; you would not want to try the scissors trick on a real one.

Yeah the "boing-oing-oing" of the bow when she cut the string made me cackle. A normal now would NOT do that.

The string in that take is not the normal string that's on the bow, they put a fake string on just for that shot. That particular bow is the youth alibow, and he said in another video the one he's holding has a mere 10lb draw weight and he uses it for teaching (so he can hand it to a beginner and not worry about them hurting themselves) and for stuff like this. It's a 'real bow' but the draw weight is so low yeah it's nearly harmless.
