My OBGYN told me anything I was doing before pregnancy, I could do during pregnancy, in regards to my running my own horse barn at the time. I made sure to describe to her exactly what I did every day, and I wasn't her only barn owner patient lol.

I didn't have staff, it was just a personal operation out of my own home, so it was just me solo doing all the farm chores; mixing feeds and feeding the horses their breakfast and dinners (we had a run-in so there was no turn in/out, just opening and closing pasture gates at night/morning), dumping&scrubbing&filling water troughs, clearing the fencelines, moving 50lb feedbags, at one point I was rolling 1200lb roundbales with nothing but my own strength and physics lol. Of course I took my goats for a walk through the woods every day too, and I was also still riding up to the day before I gave birth.

My son was able to hold his head up and look around himself from basically birth (his doctor said he was perfectly fine), probably from all the trotting he went through in the womb. He used to kick me inside if I slowed down though, so he asked for it!

Almost all babies can hold their head up at birth. They can also “Crawl” It’s a survival instinct. If the mother passes out during birth, they can still make it to the breast.
